This manifold retaining ring seal utilized our precision fourslide forming and custom flattening station capabilities using a non-standard square wire. The stainless steel part measured 1.5” long by 0.04775” wide by 1.5” high and weighed 0.002 lbs. The consistency of the square thickness and form is critical throughout the entire part. Our ability to provide these specifications demonstrates our excellence as tooling experts for even the most demanding application.
To ensure customer satisfaction is exceeded, we perform numerous in-process tests and inspections including real-time SPC of critical dimensions, CMM measurement, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, flatness testing and strength testing, to name only a few. Customers also praise our efficiency and time effectiveness. We were able to produce the part in a total of 12 weeks. The customer was so pleased with the product; they contracted us for 180,000 parts per year and we have been manufacturing a series of these parts for over fifteen years.
